We have just added a new line of Olde Fly Shop series Fiber Glass fly rod blanks to our rod building section.
They are constructed of Uni- direction fiber glass with carbon helix core and slip-over ferrules. The advantage of this is to reduce the weight of the blanks and also increase the strength of the blank compared to the traditional scrim construction. These blanks have great performance, smooth casting and accurate action. Three-piece traditional translucent Uni-glass 6ft 6in in length 3wt Butt OD .316". Tip top 1.58mm size 4.5 and the weight 1.1oz with good quality cloth bag. All Olde Fly Shop blanks have a life time warranty. Ferrule female over male.
